But to do so, she must kill the predator and killing something so precious comes at a price …ĭragged to a magical kingdom for the murder of a faerie, Feyre discovers that her captor, his face obscured by a jewelled mask, is hiding far more than his piercing green eyes would suggest. So when she spots a deer in the forest being pursued by a wolf, she cannot resist fighting it for the flesh. “Feyre’s survival rests upon her ability to hunt and kill – the forest where she lives is a cold, bleak place in the long winter months. I will say that the last book, A Court of Silver Flames, has much more smut then the rest of the series – so if that’s not your thing, you may not like that one as much.

The sexual tension, the romance, the enemies to lovers trope, the badass female characters, the world building – I absolutely loved and adored EVERYTHING about this series – and I was DEVASTATED to have finished it! (And let me just say that Rhysand, Azriel and Cassian can all ruin my life and I would say thank you….) There’s 5 books in the series (with hopefully at least one more on the way!) and I read them all within 2-3 weeks… I became super enthralled with the Fae-world, the main characters, and all the things. I’m also quite upset that we don’t live in a world with such magical things and faeries. I want you to envision me trying to work on important things throughout the day and all I could think about was this damn series! WO(I did love the Maximum Ride series when I was younger though!) But the moment I picked up the first book, a Court of Thorns and Roses, I couldn’t put it down.
